Disclaimer -- it's a Teen Paddle tradition to tell the story of our week through a creative writing lens. These blogs reflect the paddlers' uniqueness, creativity, and fondness for "Mafia," a sneaky camp storytelling game where people "die," doctor's "heal," and paddlers have to try to solve a crime through creative storytelling.  No one REALLY died, nor would any paddlers want the others "dead." (A few of the paddlers worried about what their parents might think when they read the blog -- and to be honest -- so did the adult facilitators).

Day 3

Today was a most eventful day indeed, us, the Conjubilation (all the 3 elites combined), unfortunately had to pack up camp at our luxurious residence, with amazing bathrooms by the way. Our amazing clergy, the Tide, lead us through the waters, once believed to only exist in fairytails, Mt Calvert. Travelers from a land far far away called Archaeologists came and enlightened us with tales of its righteous indigenous peoples and their undisputed importance to the areas surrounding. We then continued onward our grand voyage but soon found ourselves mourning the passing of our dear clergy tidesman, Lord Tobias, let's just say the waters got some nasty alligators. To fully finish his funeral we commemorated his departure by hauling the empty husk of his vessel behind us all the way to the next dock, where clergy tidesman ,Jesus,  broke bread in the form of a PB&J sandwich in the grieving memory of Tobias. Oh and we also sold Natalie ,from the mediocre Monarchs, off to the Tide. After we docked at the true encampment, we took a soak in what turned out to be a foot of water that gradually turned into a strange, pungent, organic sludge the deeper you went. Though, the cursed rain fairies had forced us to seek shelter somewhere else, luckily that meant we got to spend the evening sleeping and eating in another luxurious pavilion, with amazing bathrooms!

P.S. The Monarchs were going bankrupt so Natalie had to be sacrificed, the Tide readily accepted.

From the facilitators:
Tomorrow's blog will be written by the Dirt Munchers which includes: Isaac, Abby, and Collin. We have shifted camp sites to have access to a pavilion to get away from the rain while we enjoy our dinner.
